Upcoming Event in the Blind Community: Blind Low Vision New Zealand Board Elections

Blind Low Vision NZ will soon start their Board Elections which are open to BLVNZ Members.
This is a chance to have a say in who leads the organisation forward for the next three years.
If you are a full or governing BLVNZ Member, you are able to vote at the BLVNZ annual Board Elections to elect our Board of Directors.

This year, three vacancies are available for the Board’s General Seats.
Information about nominations have been sent out to members on Friday 21 August 2020.
If you would like to receive a nomination form, please contact the BLVNZ on 0800 24 33 33.
All completed nominations must be received at Blind Low Vision NZ by 4:00pm on Friday 18 September 2020.
Voting Packs will be sent to voting members on Friday 9 October 2020.
You must call BLVNZ 0800 24 33 33 to ensure you are enrolled to vote and have correct contact details by this date.
The Board will again be offering online voting as an additional method.
Candidate interviews with each of the 2020 candidates will be available on the Telephone Information Services (TIS), on CD as well as on the elections website (rnzfbelections.org.nz).
These will be announced by BLVNZ closer to election time.
