Te Pou Workshop for Disabled People

A workshop will be held in Auckland on 30 and 31 August. Kia Noho Rangatira Ai Tātou is an exciting education programme that builds understanding of disabled people's rights and self-determination.
This FREE two day workshop is led by disabled people for disabled people where participants can:
- learn more about human rights
- build understanding of the Disability Convention
- plan how you can use the Disability Convention in all areas of life to ensure your rights are upheld.
The Disabled Persons Assembly and Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui have worked together to develop this programme which examines human rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Disability Convention).
You will receive a programme manual which is only available to those who attend. Morning Tea and Lunch are provided.
