Kāpō Māori Aotearoa (KMA) Hui Taumata 40th Anniversary 2023 and General Meeting, will be hosted at the Millennium Hotel, Queenstown, Thursday, 16th to Saturday, 18th November 2023.


2023 is a significant milestone for KMA.  It is our 40th anniversary!

 

In recognition of this momentous occasion, Te Kahui Tumuaki has chosen “Te Kukuwhata: Evolution” as the Hui Taumata 40th Anniversary 2023 theme.

 

Te Kukuwhata: Evolution” is a celebration of our members, Te Kahui Tumuaki, staff and Ngāti Kāpō/KMA. The commitment, resilience and determination in 1983 to be by Māori for Māori, forging our own pathway and direction in accordance with our vision, values and principles. 

 

We have a collection of photos, videos and memorabilia that will be on display during Hui Taumata 2023.  We would be very grateful to receive photos and videos that we can add to our display.

 

We also would like to gather stories from members, whānau and allies.

Delegate Registration Packages

 

We are offering the following options:

 

A. Two individual options that guarantee registrants their own room:

 

  1. KMA Tangata (financial) members: $810 (GST Incl.)

  2. All Other Registrants: $920 (GST Incl.)

 

B.  Two ‘twin share’ room options:

 

  1. KMA Tangata (financial) members: $610 (GST Incl.)

  2. All Other Registrants: $720 (GST Incl.)

 

All packages are for delegates aged 15 years and over.  Rangatahi rates (11 to 14 years) will be provided upon request.  Tamariki (0 to 10 years) is koha. Note. Hire of cot additional cost.

 

‘Registration Package A1 and B1’ are exclusive to KMA Tangata (financial) members who have paid their 2022 and 2023 annual subscription. Click here for more information about KMA Tangata (financial) membership.

 

KMA members’ (financial and non-financial) and service users’ registrations will be given priority.  Registration packages include:

 

(a)        Three night’s accommodation – single room (16th to 18th November 2023). 

(b)        Meals (from lunch 16th November to breakfast 19th November 2023).

(c)         On-site program activities.

 

Day Rates are available.
